Gili Trawangan

Turtle Point on Gili Trawangan is a premier, shallow snorkeling and diving spot located off the island’s northeast coast, renowned for frequent, close-up encounters with green sea turtles in their natural habitat. Easily accessible from shore or by boat, it offers clear, warm waters ideal for viewing marine life, typically best visited in early mornings or late afternoons.

Gili Meno

The Gili Meno underwater statues, officially titled “Nest,” are a famous, eco-friendly art installation located off the west coast of Gili Meno, Indonesia, near the BASK resort. Created by artist Jason deCaires Taylor, the 48 life-size figures, designed to foster coral reef growth, sit in shallow water (about 4m deep), making them accessible for snorkeling.

Gili Air

Frogfish point in Gili Air is a renowned diving and snorkeling site known for its rich biodiversity, particularly popular with macro photographers for spotting rare, colorful reef creatures. It features a beautiful coral garden in the shallows and vibrant seamounts.

The Gilis are three small islands off the coast of Lombok, Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. These three islands are very popular tourist destinations for their white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, and rich marine life, with activities such as snorkeling and diving. Due to the lack of motorized vehicles, transportation on these islands is limited to bicycles and cidomo (horse-drawn carriages).
